This community project was built as a way for students to document the construction of their new community center. As a creative placemaking project students discussed various ways to help their neighbors participate in the construction on property that was vacant for years.
In the end, it was a collaborative effort that allowed their camera to not only survive but to capture a spectacular series of photos showing the impact of the hurricane in the location it was placed.
